Along the way we get a good view of the glacier lagoon and the glacier and its environment. When we come to the glacier we have a safety briefing and a short lesson how to use the crampons and the ice pick for the ice. Then we walk on to the glacier.

Glacial landscape is amazing and dynamic, including crevice, holes and small black volcanic sand hills. Sometimes we are able to look into the small holes or caves.

In winter the ice is blue and clear, except that the surface is covered with snow, but the summer the ice more whiter well as volcanic ash is visible and it forms various pattern in the landscape of the glacier.

As previously mentioned, the glacial landscape is changing from day to day which makes it even more interesting to see and explore. Likewise glacier been melting very rapidly in recent years that has made his surroundings more exciting.
